prospects doesn't mean they are recruits. But in the eyes of the ncaa they are. A 5'2" 400 lb is a prospec/ recruit. But ok.......It was dumb, it wasn't a big deal.

I think Dan had to show us how to be a functional football program when he was here- which was his greatest contribution to MSU. The problem was Dan didn't know how to show MSU how to recruit.

Huh, I guess you're right. I only remembered the suspension, and it seems like I remember everyone being dumbfounded that he escaped a show cause....I guess everyone was just shocked that it was only for 1 year.

Probably getting too close to overcoming his last hurdle ... Saban. Not that they were that close this year but they need to make sure Dan don't surprise one year (like 2014). More likely to do that at FL than at MSU (which he did). So knock him back a peg and handicap him some.
