With TN pulling out, & the Liberty Bowl payout being about $3 mil more than the Armed Forces Bowl, it seems to make sense to send MSU to the Liberty Bowl, refund tickets to those that already bought them, & send Army to the Armed Forces Bowl where they belong.

Not gonna happen.

Not saying it shouldn't, but it's probably too late. Screw Tennessee for accepting a bowl bid they knew they weren't going to be able to go to.

It's screwing WV. Somebody is going to go to that bowl game and how many tickets have been sold? Will not be that hard to correct.

Just slide Army in.

The bowls were just announced yesterday. Not much has happen since. Moving a team around would not be hard to do at this point. Not like army is going to bring a lot of fans. Miss STate will sell out it's allotment. I think it will come down to the Bowl committee or committees.

That's the hot rumor. The Armed Forces Bowl signed a one year special deal with the SEC and wants a team from the conference really bad. Money talks, so we might get bumped to Memphis.

Rosebowl says this isn’t going to happen and we are gonna play in the armed forces bowl. Said we had talks about it but it never got off the ground.

I?ll never believe the conference would give up revenue until I see it.

A lot of these schools have buyouts to pay

The win-win here would be for MSU to move to the Liberty Bowl and agree to a home & home series with Army as part of the deal w/ a 2035 game in West Point for the 100th anniversary of what many still claim as the biggest win in MSU history 13-7 over Army in West Point.

That would be cool. A game in West Point would be an even shorter drive for those bulldog fans living in Tupelo, Booneville, Nettleton, and New Albany.
