Are they the only team in the sec without a winning season since 2015?

Vandy as well, but that's why Vandy is OM's permanent opponent. It's like welfare

Also. For all the love their fans have them for this year, they had 4 wins. They beat 0-10 vandy, 2-8 Usce, 3-7 state, and 4-6 KY. All four wins against teams with losing records. Statistically, they played the worst schedule of all sec west teams. At least we beat 5-5 LSU and 5-5 Mizzou.

So vandy and om. That's it. Those are the only two. Wow.

And some of those winning seasons were vacated.

You can add three more. So, 14 out of 17?

Goodness. one bad football program

They seem to get a great player here & there & drags them to a decent record, but they have no ability to sustain or build anything.

It was hilarious that they opted
out against A&M in order to preserve what they saw as a sure winning record since WE even beat LSU. We clobbered them in fact. They ARE O....L.....E.....Miss.

Well, they have beaten us 8 times during that span, so it's not like we're running away with anything...

Man it?s hard to accept if we use the adapted air raid we did today against ole miss we win that game by a TD.

Their 4 wins are a combined 9-31.
Our 3 wins are a combined 10-20.

Take out Vandy (0-10) our common victory and we have 2 wins against teams combined for 10-10 and they have 3 wins against teams combined for 9-21.

BeardoMSU
12-20-2020, 12:55 AM
And they may very will win their bowl game, so it'd be 10, not 11.

And for reference, if we're going to play the "regular season" totals, we would be at 10 as well (fortunately, we're only at 7 when accounting for bowl wins).

Seriously, these types of threads are peak little brother, especially in a season where they beat our asses (both on the field and in cruitin').

Ok, fine. Have your party, Pool.

I really wish we could play them again. Let Moore and the TE “opt back in”

I honestly think if both teams had a full roster we win.

Ole Miss had a 4-5 record this year not 4-4 as indicated. They had a losing record in 2020.

2017: 9-4
2018: 8-5
2019: 6-7
2020: 3-7

We seem to be trending down ourselves. Hopefully next season we go the other way

Yeah and one play basically decided the egg bowl - a 14pt swing at the goal line. For all the Coral love from State fans he threw as many picks as we did this year just did it all in a few games.

Well he did throw for 27 TDs and ran for 4 more. We scored 25 TDs as a team in 1 more game. He finished an all sec schedule with a 182 passer rating; that's great no matter how we try to spin it.

Right now Sagarin has State with the #4 schedule strength in the country and OM #16. State had the #2 SOS before yesterday.

Overall, Sagarin has State ranked #37 and OM #32. About the same. State would pass them with a bowl win and OM bowl loss.

How many times have we finished ahead of them in the SEC West in those years?

State has finished better than OM 9 out of the last 11 seasons. All but 2015 and 2020.

And they cheated in 2015--they vacated 2010-2014 and 2016? OM either negotiated to leave out 2015 or OM simply left out 2015 on purpose (the NCAA wrote that OM was to inform them of the games they should vacate). I know of the excuse that Tunsil served his seven game suspension in 2015 so OM didn't have to vacate any. I think OM just made that up to keep their cheating Sugar Bowl. Wasn't written in anything from the NCAA.

It would suit me just fine if they were never even mentioned here again.

A 7 point victory, and beat our ass in recruiting? Ok

A 7 point victory in a game, where the roles were reversed, they wouldn’t even had played.

Example, their A&M game that was cancelled.

He is talented, I didn't say he wasn't but when you play as bad as he has at times, not sure the word great can be applied.

4th nationally in qbr
8th nationally in passer rating

I realize we hate OM and all, but this board has no credibility at all when it can't acknowledge he's been great.

Using 2003 as the reference point, it seems the moral of this thread is that things get really bad in between Manning family members being on that team.
