Armed Forces Bowl vs Arizona State

Would be a fun matchup. My guess is that Arizona State is about like Mizzou in terms of quality.

I love the SEC & Pac12 starting bowls together. For far too long those conferences haven't competed. Lots of great brands & helmet games. Fresh

Arizona State is a good team. That would be our first Pac 12 opponent since Oregon in the early 2000s

Hard to know what we'd be up against:
L 28-27, USC
L 25-18, UCLA
W 70-7, Arizona
playing Oregon State right now

That's their whole season

If we get the Armed Forces Bowl, can we break out the Sonny Montgomery helmets?

Well, it's not going to be Arizona State. They like many of the PAC 12 have "opted out". Looks like two or three bowls will be cancelled because of lack of teams. For us we could possibly get Baylor in the Armed Forces, West Va in the Liberty, or Boise in the Birmingham.

I don't care where or who we play, I'm just glad the streak continues and all our young guys get more practice time.

That's the big thing is we need the bowl practice and another game. And our younger guys getting reps will be our starters. So we won't really have to force reps for young guys. So we will have a lot of reps for our starters which will pay off big time next year.
