The closest Leach has gotten to having a back run for 1000 yds was Shannon Woods at TTU when he ran for a little over 900 yards. Several years he's had 800 and 700 yd rushers. He's had seasons where he's had multiple guys run for more than 600 or 700 yards.

This game like all of our games came down to our front blocking them. We ran the ball for over 100 yards and got them out of the drop 8 and torched them. That will be the determining factor for every single game that Leach coaches at MSU. Us having what I believe is a good year of OL recruiting is gonna help us tremendously going forward.

Will has a lot to work with, but obviously needs to stop staring down receivers. His arm strength isn’t great and he underthrows a lot of balls, but he is generally accurate and that is what Leach wants the most. I think we can win a lot of games with him, provided our OL continues to improve.
