Why opt out now with one or two games?

I wish they would then that would force Ole Miss to play A&M.

Exactly. Only way bears would play Aggie next week is if both LSU (bears opponent) and TN (aggies opponent) can't play next week.

Seriously, with covid spreading like wildfire, I don't get the point playing any of these games. The SECCG is settled and is the only game that matters now. The rest is just for tv $$$ and practice.

Annnnnnnnd?? You in a hurry to get go back to the offseason?

Or once MSU is out of contention for the SEC championship game or playoffs every year we might as well pack it up the rest of the season? Especially since there is no point in collecting money or getting practice in. What good does that do us?** Especially with the performances we've put out this year minus a couple of games.

You picked the wrong team to root for if so.

Yep. They just want to play LSU so they can try to finish 5-4 and with a winning record. They never wanted to play A&M.

My point is..... I don't blame any player for opting out at this point.

However I realize some fans want to create a narrative that LSU has other issues and thus the opt outs. But I'll take the players at their word and assume the spread of covid is the issue.

As for State, seems there is a new wave of energy there. I'm sure State has younger players eager to workout and play for their future. Good for those players.

But again.... who can blame the 10-14 at LSU.
