I will go to Birmingham but not Tampa but I went to the Outback bowl and Tampa is a great place to go watch a football game. I just don't want to go that far for a lower bowl.

Pump the brakes... i wouldn't be surprised if many bowls don't happen. bowls need the attendance to make money and things on that front aren't going to be changing that quick the rest of this year..
plus with games happening up until dec 12..19th??

Pinstripe and Sun Bowls have already cancelled.

It's going to be either Birmingham or Tampa Steve said the Birmingham bowl really wants us. Even at 2-8, bowl game is likely. 3-7 gets State in a bowl game

ESPN will want the content, and they will probably be willing to pay enough to make all the bowls with SEC tie-ins happen. Not sure the bowls or the teams involved will be entirely happy about how it works out and it might look pretty different than most years, but I would expect colleges and bowls to to try to accommodate their TV partner. Lots of years to worry about past this year and don't want to sour your relationship with the biggest game in town as far as TV money.

Only one rule about 2020 bowl games: you don’t talk about 2020 bowl game eligibility rules.
