Get the SEC to change it's 14 day policy before Saturday & we get Heath, Wheat, & Davis back for the Egg Bowl.

Those types of policy changes just don't happen that quick, Gun. I agree 100% with what 28 says, and it probably won't be the next week either as for as that goes (possible I guess).

The above answer was based on that the CDC had already amended their 14 day recommendation. They haven't. So all bets are off. You really jumped the gun (so to speak) on this one.

Hell, our numb nut head of the Heath dept. wants to lock down again.

Actually the CDC has not even amended their 14 day recommendation as of yet. They plan too, but no actual date has been set when they will and how many days it will be. It sounds like possibly 7 days, but that's not a definite.

Are you referring to a statewide lock down like we had earlier in the year? I sure haven't heard that. Dr. Dobbs didn't say that in the press conference yesterday, and neither he nor Dr. Byers said anything like that in the MSMA Zoom Meeting last Friday when he is away from the politics.

Mississippi won't do any more statewide orders. We didn't accomplish anything except maybe defer some covid cases until cold and flu season when our hospitals would normally be at capacity without COVID. People have differing opinions on Tate, but at least in this instance, he learned from a mistake.

He was referring that Dr. Dobbs wanted a lock down.

So they are shortening quarantines for more “buy in”. What an odd reason for health professionals to combat a virus. It either needs 14 days or it doesn’t. Wtf.

What flu season? Have you seen how low the cases are this year? In the Southern Hemisphere flu cases were down 90%+ this year. I can’t imagine why the flu cases have mysteriously vanished this year. Anyone got a guess?

Right? Is it about achieving compliance or fighting a virus?
