He doesn't even look like the same player. Amazing how great Coach K is at getting players to do what he wants.

He quit on us and his state. Screw him.

Of course he doesn't look like the same player, he is two years older, smarter, and more mature. Coach K is a great coach, but did you not expect him to improve? That's usually what happens to college players.

No, I could just give two shits about a player that quit on MSU and his state. He made the decision he felt was necessary and that's fine, but there are consequences and we don't have to glorify or talk about him.

Reggie Delk was by far the better Delk, at least offensively.

How about Gary Ervin?

He won SEC Player of the Week 3 times and made 2 NCAA Tourneys after leaving Stands

Rickey Hood, Rodney's father who transferred to Murray State with coach Ron Greene after finishing third overall in the SEC

Ervin was his best with us. Very frustrating player at times and very good at others. Bad shooter though. I'd take Ervin over both Delks and move Ben to the SG. Hansbrough could shoot and was a tough player. Dumb as a rock and tough as nails just like his bigger bro.

Damn right he quit. Mama and Daddy made sure he did. No respect for him what so ever. This is my point, Anthony Dixon never quit Hood.

I hold no fault over Rodney at all and hope he has a tremendous career at Duke.

However, the way his father acted in this left a lot to be desired. I can understand why people would be mad at him.

Bullshit. The NBA drafts people from all over the world and all kinds of much smaller colleges than MSU. If he'd stayed, he'd either be in the NBA now or coming out after this year.

I just have a hard time faulting a teenager who went on to a better opportunity.
