No way Leach is legitimately considered on a hot seat ... especially at #8

I wouldn't base to much on what that site says. In reality, he's not currently on the hot shot ( with the threat of being fired) in the eyes of our Athletic Department.

Can we say? Fake News?

Considering they have the Utah State coach who got fired this weekend listed as "safe", I think their ranking may be a little off.

Yeah that's ridiculous, and there's a pungent odor coming from that link.

Nick Saban makes $12,000,000.00 a year. Good god, and we wonder why we and most all programs in America will better catch them...

That is true; I've said it for years. At some point of money, it doesn't really matter. None of them are hurting for anything. It ain't about the money at that point.

It's funny, Bear Bryant would not take a raise above the amount the university president made.

Different times, but that is probably the way it should be. What are we saying when a HC is the highest paid person in the state?

This is correct. Then UA Prez (I think it was Joab Thomas) made $100K... Bryant insisted on a salary of $99,999...

Of course, His money was "no good" in the state....

That rich alumni care more about their schools' sports teams than they do their schools' academics?

Coaches are paid with donor money. If donors earmarked money for the Presidents salary it would have to go to him, right? Or is there a limit on earmarking donations? Anyway, Bama ain't getting 12M a year from people determined to have the best University President in the country

Why not? Who else should be?
