Miss. State's Myah Taylor selected to the 2021 Nancy Lieberman Award Preseason Watch List,, given to the nation's top point guard.
Coach Schaefer and his staff did an outstanding job of developing point guards at Miss. State. Taking care of the basketball and assist to turnover ratio were normally big attributes of his point guards while at Miss. State. My opinion, Myah Taylor has come a long way since first arriving at Miss. State. Also, expecting JaMya Mingo-Young to develop into a top level point guard. Aliyah Matharu eventually develop to the point of high capability 1 or 2 spot option. Madison Hayes with very good potential...1-4 positions, all 5 in high school. Pace of play expected to be faster under new head coach Nikki McCray-Penson and her staff.
