Of when a team or one side of the ball gets progressively worse thru a season, and it's the players fault (barring injury).

Has it gotten progressively worse?

Throw the LSU game out.

It's been virtually the same

Your opinion of our offense has sure gotten progressively worse

Seems like the competition has gotten progressively better

I would actually argue while only minor, the offense was better at Bama because the OL was a little better. Less missed assignments and I think Marks & Heath are really close to making an impact for the better.

I'm interested to see us this week vs a bad team. With Rogers getting all the 1st team snaps & the OL picking up the right players, I think we may break out to some degree. That doesn't mean 50 points, but we may be able to get into the low 30s.

Statistically speaking, Alabama and Texas A&M give up more passing yards per game than Arkansas and Kentucky.

Here was your expectation for the Bama game...

Oh yeah. We didn't meet my expectations at all. That doesn't mean, however, that there weren't some positives. Not enough unfortunately

Does anyone really believe that Kentucky and Arkansas' defenses are better than Bama and A&M? Anyone, Bueller, anyone?

Are we "through" a season yet? I thought we were only half way "through"?

Nobody said we were. Just looking for examples. Leach has plenty of time to turn things around - at least 25 games.

It's a pretty small sample size, so I'm sure you can find 5 game stretches for all coaches in all conferences across history where a team appeared to be getting worse on one side of the ball. Not that it has any bearing or meaning to our specific context.

2007 Alabama. They ended the season with losses to LSU, Croom lead Mississippi State, the vaunted University of Louisiana at Monroe Warhawks, and Auburn.

I guess they should have fired their first year coach too.

Even better. Provide an example and then what brought them out of the funk.

I'd be a little more forgiving if we signed Julio Jones, Terrance Cody, mark barron, Courtney upshaw, mark ingram, and others

Who knows what a normal years recruiting and spring will bring?

I think he's done an acceptable job of recruiting so far. If he stays in current range, he will have a chance depending on his adjustments

Good questions. Not many good answers. Saban and Bama are not exactly apples to apples.

Rogers playing the whole game and practicing all week will help.
