First off- that was the first game of the season. We weren't ready yet.

And I'm not convinced that Oregon is better than OK State.

I agree we could pretty much do what Stanford did to them. We could get physical and run the ball the same way. Dak would have a heyday against them.

This place has attracted some serious troll action lately.

We are a 25-30 point underdog against Oregon on a neutral field. No possible way that anyone that's watched us play can possibly imagine that we stay on the field with them.

5 hours ago, this board believed Oregon would take down Bama for the title. Now, they aren't as good as us? Lol

Does their win over us last year count as a quality won? We were 8-4 after all. Our record was better than Florida when we beat them .

I say we have the talent to beat any team in the Pack 12 but we just can't put four quarters together and it is hard to beat any team that is above average when you do that. I think they will right the ship.

Look we held OK State to 21 points. That's tied for their lowest total of the year. They have the #15 defense.

So let's say Oregon gets an extra 10 points on a neutral field. Pushes us to 31. It is my HUMBLE OPINION that we would at least put up two touchdowns a half. Puts us at 28 at least.

But here is the thing... our team seeing that we are close to knocking off a national power house would go ALL IN and push to beat them in the 4th quarter.

I think we could pull it off. However, it would help if we had Trooper Taylor on the sidelines for that extra push in the HYPE department.

There is a difference in being positive and being outright stupid.

Example Positive post:
Things haven't gone right this year, but we have some young guys with a lot of potential. Let's see if we can claw and scratch our way to 6 wins this season. Next year things set up nicely. The schedule is better and all these young guys will return with another year of experience. Hopefully Dak will have gotten all the turnovers out of his system and our young WRs will have a better idea of whats going on.

Example Stupid post:
We will beat Oregon on a neutral site.

Refresh my memory -- when was the last time Dan Mullen won as a 10 point underdog? Seems to me like point spreads matter a helluva lot when the game involves us.

Last time I saw..our "heart" wasn't there against LSU after a missed field goal in the third. You know, when the team quit after they went down?

We just don't have enough horses yet man. There is no way we could step on the field with Oregon and beat them right now. De'Anthony Thomas would have his way with us.

To the person that put a reputation report on my post that said "Your stupid as f--k"

I would like to sit down and discuss the differences in your vs. you're.

You're is a contraction of "you are". If you cannot replace "you are" in the sentence then it is wrong.

Your is a possessive adjective. def.- belonging to or associated with the person or people that the speaker is addressing

Let's see some examples!

"You're dumb as f--k"

"Did you ever find your cowbell before the game?"

Hope this clears things up!

All I'm saying is Oregon 59 Tennessee 14. Oregon just had one of those let down games like they had last year. They will blow out every other team they play this year. I appreciate your positive mental attitude but Oregon just has too many weapons and their defense is just good enough to be able to blow us out.

Oregon made a lot of mistakes last night. Multiple turnovers in Stanford territory and not converting a 4th down and they still almost came back with 5 mins to go. I like your enthusiasm, but we would not beat Oregon. We just aren't polished and disciplined enough to pull that off... We would have to catch them on a really off day.

How about that Mullen has NEVER won a game that had a line of more than +6. Never. He's won only 2 that were +6 exactly. Oregon would be favored by somewhere around 24 points. So more than 3X a line that Mullen has never been able to win. That's enough evidence for me. Idk about you.
