?Kingsbury mixes in a few QB runs per game to keep the defense honest?

He's already used a TE in the passing game, run zone read, RB motion, RB screen. And the worst defense in the NFL is blowing it up so far.
On a positive note, Andy Dalton is making Dak a rich(er) man so far tonight.

Theres that useless delayed handoff that we do also that went absolutely nowhere for them too.

I’ve never been a Cowboys fan. I kind of hope these dumbass fans that have been calling for Dalton finally see what they will be missing out on and then Dak signs a free agent deal with another team. **** them.

I keep hoping 2020 takes Jerry Jones.

Wow, maybe you need a break from sports

Wow, maybe you need a break from sports

To be fair, I hoped the same every year since he ran off Jimmy Johnson. Dallas will never win as long as he's involved. He killed the one team I could count on.

I think 2 things change things:

1. A mobile QB
2. The threat of a run

Point being, something that can attack the line of scrimmage in order to keep defensive ends somewhat honest.

The offensive line obviously has to be much better. I think trying to keep them somewhat honest at the LOS can help the offensive line also.

I personally think Leach will make this work. Let's see what happens in time.

I mean, outside one pass, the Air Raid looks like shit in the NFL tonight too. It should be 7-3.

Dallas finding out tonight just how good and how important #4 is to them! Dak is the man!

He's not running an air raid offense today.

Sure he is. He just has a mobile QB. The rest has looked bad (minus one pass).

I can't stand it when people ignore larger data sizes (IE the season to this point) in favor of what they personally saw (IE this game).

And no, this isn't the air raid at all. 3 wide with a TE or an H back, running the ball 50% of the time is NOT air raid by definition. If it is, then LSU and Bama and Florida run the air raid. Hell, Dan ran the air raid here about half the games if that's the standard.

What do you think the air raid is if this counts?

It's the same damn offense they always run. A flexible air raid version. I mean, TEs can be used. Hell, Leach and Mumme used two RB sets. There's no rule against it for god's sake. And you run the ball when you have a big lead. They tried the same damn splits and same damn delay. Hell, the announcers were even talking about the air raid earlier.
Some coaches adapt and add things. Leach just doesn't.

Dalton sucks, Dak is the man, screw Jerry, I hope Dak takes them to the woodshed or goes free agent.

This team could be 0-16 without Dak.

They're awful and it's been exacerbated by the OL injuries.

I would cut Zeke after the season, if it saves money. They've also got to spend money on the defense and OL. Pollard is plenty good enough for what they're doing on offense

I don't think people realize what the Air Raid is. By definition from Hal Mumme the air raid is to be a balanced offense but instead of the traditional 50-50 run-pass it balanced as you want all your playmakers getting the ball an equal amount of time.
