I know it's tough there but this is year 7 under Mason and they are pitiful. It's time to pull the plug and try someone else.

I don't know that Vandy will ever be able to compete again in the SEC.
Offenses in the conference have made it extremely difficult for Vandy to have enough playmakers to win consistently.
They will have to try and keep folks under 30 to even have a prayer of winning.
They do need a change of head coach I think, but I'm not sure anyone can get them to 7-8 wins again. Too many good teams and not enough talent able to go to Vandy.

They need to say screw it, and go get freeze. Freeze can win 6 there. Plus, I like it bc they're OM's permanent opponent

They've shown they don't care for their football program. Mason should've been gone years ago.

They have had many many coaches over the years. Maybe a new coach will improve things slightly but doubtful they'll ever be a winner.

I'd like to see them hire Jeff Monken at Army and bring the option back to the SEC. It would probably work pretty well there.

Like that. He's a high character guy too, so better fit

I think he would do really well there. He is used to recruiting a certain type of athlete that has to fit an institution with high academic demands. I know he interviewed with us and Mizzou so I think he wants to come to the SEC if possible.

Another great idea, or Calhoun if he's still at Air Force.

Muschamp will be DC at LSU (again) next season and Mason will probably be DC at Florida.

Yes and Gerry Dinardo did a little. Both left as soon as possible.
In Franklins 3 years, Vandy had two regular season wins over teams that finished the season with a winning record. But with that said, Vandy has done worse.

Uhhhh, well, maybe it could just be that this is a sports message board and Vanderbilt competes in sports in the same conference as MSU. So, maybe that is it?

Just saw they only had 56 scholarship players available today. That's only 3 above the minimum you can have.
Not sure how you can expect to be competitive in a game with that few players as Vanderbilt.
