East of the Yucatan in the Caribbean. Winds 40 mph, just above minimum tropical storm strength.

I was trying to figure out how they were bringing her back to the season finale Sunday night.

Al coast is not ready for a thunderstorm much less anything tropical. What's the record for storms in a year? We have to be getting close right?

3 more to tie... will have to see. but not seeing a threat to the coast from this system at this time.
2005 was the record. Gamma didn't occur till Nov 13th of 05.

Now the potential storm developing behind gamma.. is one to watch and see what has developed around the wed time period below cuba.

Looks like Gamma is on the Yucatan now at 65 mph and heading basically west across Mexico. I won't affect the US but even relatively minor storms can be serious for our neighbors to the south.

Looks like if it hits the US it will be near Brownsville
