I think even if we had an opening, he probably wouldn't come here. I thought the same thing about Howland though

Boy he would be a good one; talk about home run hire. Not sure he would come but you never know. He might like the slower pace covid small town.

He was making 6 mil a year with the Thunder so at the minimum it would cost us around 15-20 mil to fire the current staff and hire a new staff.........probably not the smartest idea in a year where the athletic dept. will lose a projected 30 mil. It would be a home run hire no doubt, and if someone has 20 mil laying around they'd love to donate then by all means go get him. But this isn't happening.

He could very well kill it in Starkville. Cohen would really position himself well with the fan base if he pulled that off!

Based strictly on a guess, I think he will sit a year. He'll line up a gig with a blue blood/semi-blue blood for 2021-22 season.

Yep, if he decides to come back to college ball it will be at a blue blood. There are several prime jobs that will be opening up at some point in the near future I would imagine.

We have neither the stroke, money, nor balls to pull off something like that.

I'm hoping he will take the New Orleans Pelicans job.
