Word I get from my UGA guys is that JT Daniels is better right now on one leg than Newman was, and Newman was seeing the writing on the wall. Supposedly Daniels will be cleared for full contact next week.

Jamie Newman should?ve never left Wake Forest. Clawson developed him into a special talent and he left when he saw UGA open up. Wake probably would?ve been the 2nd best team in the ACC this year had Newman stayed and played. Kirby doesn?t know what to do with non 5 star high school players.

The AJC is reporting that Justin Fields was at UGA's scrimmage on Saturday, and throws out the "what if" of him transferred back because of the B1G having cancelled football and getting a waiver.
