So, this is the only State message board not addressing the rumors of Kiffin leaving...really??? I know nothing other than it?s a popular topic on every other MSU message board than this one...and quite frankly, I?m a little disappointed!

My guess is the only thing that’s undefeated if it’s true

Wait....what?

Has the legend of Joey Freshwater already recurred?

I have heard a couple things, and it’s going around the MS AND TN High school coaches rooms.

I doubt it but you never really know with Joey Freshwater.

I'm pretty sure that there has been some quick realization that Kiffin isn't what they thought he was.

With how Leach is currently recruiting to his system (WRs & QB) & his track record, OM under Kiffin is looking at getting whipped in the Egg Bowl for the foreseeable future.

He isn't married though right?

You don’t have to be married for something to be inappropriate or illegal? I don’t know. I’ve only seen these rumors on two message boards and literally nowhere else so I’m taking it all with a grain of salt.

The only way that would happen is if he told The Network to go eff themselves.

Where are you seeing this? I am not seeing it anywhere else.

Napier might get an SEC Mulligan.

I'd much rather them keep Kiffin than hire Napier

I'm fine with Kiffin staying right where he is. He doesn't scare me at all.

I doubt there is anything to it.

I'm guessing all of this started because Kiffin dropped the Mayor of Oxford's son for another kicker.

Ole Miss is better at us as far as keeping legacies and locals as far as football recruiting goes. And that may very well do in Kiffin at some point. However, I doubt it will do him in this Friday.

Has OM had a lot of legacies recently choose OM. I know they just lost the Small kid to TN last year. They just lost Turnage out of their back yard & lost Jeremy Liggins as well, he just didn't qualify.

All Ole Miss athletics coaches and staffers who earn more than $100,000 annually are subject to pay cuts as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

So this pay cut won't matter now that they don't have Kiffen's salary to pay.

Let's compare that to:

1. AJ Brown
2. Scott Lashley- thank you transfer portal.
3. Cole Smith- thank you transfer portal.
4. Adam Norsworthy
5. Derrick Brown
6. Gardner Minchew

The bottom line is if Ole Miss REALLY wants a player that work harder at it than we do typically.

They certainly seem to have more foresight years ahead and start setting things up.

That said, they stink so they suck at much more than their good at

Correct. The problem is even though they suck and waste players repeatedly if we don't get them to Starkville they can't help us.

Ok now name me all the legacies & hometown kids OM got or missed on? Of course we know ours but who are theirs?

Peyton Manning.

Peyton Manning.

Only reason they didn't get Peyton was because of looming probation. They had fired Brewer and had Joe Lee as a head coach.
