Reportedly signs a 10 year contract extension. I haven't seen the dollar amount yet, but jeez...
Also, I'm not sure a 10 year extension is the best option, since the cap is believed to continue to go up exponentially.

Meanwhile Chris Jones is probably looking around the Chiefs' office going "WTF?", lol.

I'm guessing it's in the 40-45 million a year range. They need to pay Chris I mean dang what else he got to do!

I would think this is good news for Dak too. He won't get Mahomes money, but it shows that to get a contract that goes into the new CBA period you will have to fork over $$$$

I'm gonna be happy for Dak, but Jerry Jones is a ****ing moron for waiting this long. Holy hell. Again, I want Dak to get as much money as possible, but business wise, the Jones' screwed this up every step of the way.

Someone here may have to explain it to me, but the issue has always been the length of the contract. I bet Dallas would go for 10 years around 40 if Dak would. I believe he gets 5 years 160 million. No way he gets to 40 million a year.

You are replacing a Mullen QB with a Leach trained coach QB. Yep he needs a pile. Probably more than Dak does since he has had better coaching under Leach's ideas.

He will get to 40/year if they don't sign him this year. That's why waiting is gonna cost then.
