I kinda would like something like this that allows people to change the colors as they see fit.

I want a versatile logo on the flag that allows MSU/OM/USM/ etc to change the colors & showcase the flag at games.

What if we used the Stennis flag but each of the stars around the main stars was the color primary color a state university?

There are 19 stars on the Stennis flag. So each of the stars could be

Maroon
Blue
Green
Gold
Purple
Red

And do each those 3 times

I don't think anything.

Just that there may be better options.

They should abolish the current flag, come up with 3 best options & have the people vote on the 3 best options in November.

There's no rush to get a new flag. Just a rush to abolish the old one.

If we're going to be stuck with the new flag for 100+ years, shouldn't we at least take a little time to examine all the possibilities?

Some people mistakenly assume it has something to do with the politician rather than just being named after the creator, his granddaughter.

But now that you mention it, I guess we might as well start coming up with potential names for the Stennis Space Center and who know how many other things across the state. Sherril Space Center?

Personally, I believe the Stennis flag looks really good, but it doesn't do much to represent Mississippi.

For goodness sakes, after 100 years of having a racist flag, can we design something that represents Mississippi? The culture, the heritage, & have it be unique rather than something bland that is red, white, & blue with stars on it that are just rearranged from other states.

Just seems like we can do better
