If they don't I don't think Leach will leave them on the field.

I know most are hesitant but I think we have one of those lightning in a bottle seasons.

And it's going to be our luck that the season will be cancelled 1 month in due to the Viiiiiiruzzzzz

Ha,Ha, yep we just beat Bama, #1 in country and are undefeated and they cancel the season.

Assuming you mean lightning in a bottle is 10 wins we simply don't have the personnel on D to do that. Its definitely possible to have the best offensive production since 2014.

When has MSU ever had the #1 QB and #1 RB coming into a season? Maybe never?

An average defense w/ a spit fire offense could get us 10 wins.

Is the O-Line good enough? It all starts up front. Blocking schemes/spacing under Leach are different than what our guys are used to. And no spring practice to learn it.

As far as the defense worry- it really depends on the JUCO's IMO. I'd try to pick up Monroe from LSU too. Depth is more the concern to me on defense than the starters. If we allow 24
PPG on defense we should still have a good year.

If we have enough defense to hold teams 25 or less then we will win at least 9.

Yeah. Everyone is like well they're not the 2018 defense so we're going to suck.

See 2014.

The 2014 defense was bad ass.

Jones, McKinney, Smith, Redmond, etc

Not knock on our current D, but I don't think we have anyone as good as those names mentioned above on this year's D.

Jones was very inconsistent at that point and Redmond got hurt halfway through

Jones was a badass his entire career,

The 1a defense from that year could hurt people's feelings

I think that 2014 D was even better than the numbers say. I think it was mismanaged with wholesale substitutions 1a-1b bullshit. Not to mention Don and Capri Pants Collins being in the job market.

This... we were #1 in the country (and by a wide margin percentage wise) in red zone defense. The distance between us and #2 in score % was as wide as the distance between #2 and #10 in the rankings.

Shameful how SloMo mismanaged Kylin. Coaching malpractice.

I don’t get the mismanaged part of Kylin? He rushed for 1350 yards and was the leading rusher at the end of the season.

After bowl games and a playoff game only Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Lynn Bowden Jr finished ahead of him.

Yea, Moorhead can be blamed for a lot of things, but I don’t think this is one.

#1 QB, #1 RB, and I saw this morning that Errol has the most tackles of any returning player in the SEC.

Anybody that would put Kylin above Najee Harris today needs his credentials revoked. I think Kylin can be better but he has a lot of work to do. I'm pulling for him though.

Harris doesn't impress me. I'll take a motivated Hill. Harris getting Bama favor.

Well if Hill sits then our stay and the top didn't last long for top QB and RB. Hah, I knew something would happen.
