What do you think of this?

"Another (new) sticking point is that MLB wants all players to sign an ?acknowledgment of risk? waiver that would absolve the league of responsibility should a player have complications related to COVID-19."

Fair or unfair clause? I would hope a team would want to take care of their player medically but I guess they want to remove the possibility of a "unsafe working environment" suit.

Fair... if a player got Covid... how would you know if it had anything to do with baseball? If a player wants to sit out without pay, they could find a replacement.

What the players are asking for that is fair is that the owners either abide by the initial contract they signed that gave prorated pay based on the number of games, or the league opens up their books to prove the losses they claim would happen.

What the owners are asking for that is fair is that the players decide for themselves if they want the risk in order to be paid, and if they decide to sit out, they do so without pay.

It's fair if the owners & players come to an agreement on the measures taken to prevent players from getting COVID.
