I have had three reps given but all three are from user I have never seen post, they have not post, they can only leave neutral reps because they have not earned the right to leave a negative rep. Why are you doing that? Do you do it so you can leave a negative rep and not have the username you post with not to receive one back?

If those reps were on Covid thread ... I'll give you about 4 maybe 5 guesses.

I really don't care who they are. I just think they are cowards. That's probably how they live their real lives.

I'm pretty sure the lock-the-country-down it's-all-Trump's-fault crowd has changed or added usernames in several instances to seem like different folks in the Covid threads on MSU boards.

Gun will actually have inflated expectations for MSU football while Liverpool will never admit we should win more than 8 ... even one the outlier years when we should. But maybe they using reverse psych on us **

Like which usernames. All the new users in that thread were not at all those types.

As for the neutral reps, those are weird. Idk what they are accomplishing with those (I've gotten them too.) You can't even check who gave you the rep right? Unless they make it obvious with their comment?

I've gotten neutral ones too. And I wasn't including you in the multiple usernames. I think you probably stick with yours no matter how out in left field you are ****

Everytime you get a positive rep your power grows and the more power you have the stronger your Rep to someone else is. Negative reps does the opposite. If you are new, have no reps you do not have enough rep power to give a negative. It will come out gray. That's the best I can figure out. To be effective you have to post and get positive reps.

Side note: When I see someone new posting I always try to give a positive rep to help boost them. I think I have only ever given two negative reps. I have also given positive reps to things I disagree with because it was still a damn good post.

I always include CC24 when I give a rep, but i've never given anyone a negative rep. Kinda sucks that someone would give a negative rep, I mean it is a message board for heavens sake.

I have 3 or 4 different accounts.

What you guys don't realize is that I mostly just argue with myself in these threads with different accounts

Heck no. Just have one account. Don't care about rep/up or down votes, etc.

You don't get enough of arguing with yourself when not on this board. You just gotta share Shotgun head talk with the rest of us ****

We appreciate it bruh. ***

And you base this on what?

And you base this on what?

My perception that some arguing that side in the beginning have disappeared (deadhead), while other usernames I wasn't familiar with (on any topic) have popped up later on to vehemently argue that side. Could be mostly wrong but I would probably bet on a couple.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Turfdawg67 again.

Yea one guy in particular that posts a lot on the COVID thread (I won't name him) gave me negative rep then bragged in the comment how much more it'll hurt me since he has more "power."

Was you one of my two? I must have given too many reps today. I just tried to give you a positive and it said I had to spread some around before I can give you another. I don't think I gave you a negative. When I can I will give you a positive.

Heck no. Just me myself and I. I've given out rep but didn't even know it could be positive or negative. I figured any rep given would be positive and just means you really agree or like their post. Oh well, I'm not much of a computer guy anyway. So what's the difference in having green bars or red bars under your name?

First, negative posts are for pussies. 2nd, if you have to make up a new username to leave a negative comment, then you already lost. Either defend your viewpoint or admit the other side of the argument is correct.

Jack and I disagree on most things when it comes to policy, but hell at least we discuss it as adults.

I've given 1 negative rep but I think that same person returned the "favor". This is the only account I have on this board! Having multiple accounts I would think is high confusing as you would have to keep track of your primary theme/position on each account to stay true to why you created it in the first place. Ouch, that has gotta make your head hurt!
