Being reported....Abdul Ado withdrawing his name from the NBA Draft

Thus far the Miss. State frontcourt returnees are.....
- Abdul Ado (listed 6-11, 255)
- Tolu Smith (listed 6-10, 245) W. Kentucky transfer, sat out last season
- Quinten Post (listed 7-0, 225)

Also, the Louisiana transfer, Jalen Johnson is listed at 6-7, and is a very good rebounder. Averaged 15.5 points and 6.6 rebounds last season. Other froncourt newcomers are mostly freshmen wings.....Cameron Matthews 6-7, Anderson Garcia 6-7, 6-8 range, and wing/guard Keondre Montgomery 6-6, 6-7 range (upside as a 2 guard).

I think we can still be good next year if they gel together. Sometimes the superstar thing doesn't work out well.

I think it was good for Ado to put in get on folks radar and then pull back. He will be looked at this year. He could have a decent pro career as a backup, defender and rebounder.

He needs to just come back. Think he'll be a lock for the first round in 21, maybe a lottery.

Not really the way it works in basketball. It's possible certainly, but generally extra years in college is actually a negative unless you take a big step forward or change your game to some degree.

There will be a whole new batch of kids that are draft eligible next year that will be ahead of him.
