Hate terribly to hear this...

I couldn't even imagine dealing with something like that with everything he's got on his shoulders right now...

My goodness. That's terrible. Praying for Dak and his family, I can't imagine losing my mother at 31 years old, much less 20 years old and in college. Just sad news.

I know she was a proud momma.

He's such a strong guy but nothing can prepare someone for losing a parent. He needs our thoughts and prayers.

My mother died when I was dak's age. I feel for him.

This could explain dak's mental errors yesterday.

So sorry to hear that. I know Dak is a strong kid but that has to be so tough. There is nobody else like Mama. My prayers will definitely be with him and his family. Also, hope Tyler is ready to get back on the field because I could certainly understand with services and dealing with the loss and such if Dak ended up not playing this week.

That is just terrible, I am praying for their family. I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer when I was 29 and it was then and still is the biggest milestone in my life. I turned 41 this year and I'm still not over it. I really couldn't function in my dad's last days - the fact that Dak played yesterday is a really testament to him, because I couldn't have done it.

I really, really feel for the young man.....

Very much so. At that stage you know it's any day. Been there with uncle. No parent so
I don't know that loss, but it's wearing and not something you can prepare For.

This Saturday will be the 10 year anniversary of me losing my dad. I was 29 when it happened. Still not over it either. To those that have not lost a parent early it is beyond words to describe. I feel for dak and will be praying for him.

Good grief that sucks. I still have both my parents and can't imagine losing one of them when I was his age. Me and mine will lift up him and his family to the Lord.

Wins and loses mean nothing with this tragic news. Thoughts and prayers are with Dak and his entire family. The pressure this young man has been under must have been tremendous. God Bless You Dak.
