Sadly, it's true.

Anyone have a video of the Leadco Shuffle? I've scoured the interwebs, and can't find one...

I think the funeral is today in Laurel ... I remember in the mid 70's when he came home - he and his Dad went quail hunting and poor old Eb ended up getting shot and interviewed in the hospital bed .... been there myself

Yes Tom passed away he was 81. I used to run into him at the post office every now and then. What you see is what you get with Tom. Super nice guy. RIP Brother.

Really hate to hear that. Never met Tom but I worked with his brother Mike at the South Mississippi Electric Power Association in Hattiesburg roughly 35 years ago.

I tried doing this a few months ago because I was telling someone from AL about it and assumed they had seen it.

I couldn't believe they hadn't so I tried to find something to refresh their memory possibly. Couldn't find anything.

I'll show my age and admit I didn't know he was of any significance but I definitely remember those annoying ass commercials.

I'm guessing you never saw Green Acres, lol? He played Eb. For us country folks it was a great show. I'm getting old.

You and me both, CC, I remember Green Acres very well. I didn't know until much later that Tom Lester was from Mississippi, no google in those days.

I just didn't like Green Acres enough to watch it. Not enough to know the same dude playing Eb was the same guy on the Leadco Shuffle commercials.

I didn't watch Petticoat Junction. Heard of it though.

I definitely watched the Beverly Hillbillies.

The girls on Petticoat Junction were babes to an adolescent like me. Now, their Momma is more my speed. Ellie Mae was a smoke show too.

I'll up you, Kaylee Hartung is my 2nd cousin once removed. If you don't know who she is, use google.
