CJ Bolar transferring

Purvis HS and Vandy wr CJ Bolar is transferring from Vandy. He?s been a good wr for them and would be great in this offense. Mullen really missed on this guy big time.
Anyone know if there is a mutual interest? Seems like a perfect fit

Would he potentially be a grad transfer?

If not, he'd fall outside of the 100 mile radius rule the NCAA has for transfers (which is an unfair rule for rural schools) & he'd have to sit out a year.

If he could play this year, I'd take him. But if he has to sit a year, we may have numerous players better than him by that point in time.

He?s better than anyone we have on our roster, outside of Heath?s potential. His true freshman year at the offensive juggernaut Vandy, he had more receptions and yards (tied) than anyone on our team the last three seasons. But you would pass on him since he wouldn?t be immediately eligible....

Dude can fly and is one heck of an athlete. I'd take him in a heartbeat. Really good kid too.

Lovett opened a spot.... I think our number to hit roster wise is 83 this season thanks to Gay and others.... that being said, I don?t think we have been at the full 85 in a long time without awarding some walk ons and ineligible punters schollies.... thanks Joey Jones.

We're at 84 right now after Lovett and Breynn Jones transfer so we need 1 more guy to leave to be at the 83 we have to be next season.

I doubt we see 11 guys leave during practice. The staff were expecting multiple guys to leave during offseason workouts because they have at every stop due to workload. None of our guys did. I think we see a few guys realize their not a good fit for the team but it won't be a mass exodus imo.

Agree, I think we may see 2 or 3 but I don't think it'll be more than that.

I'm not sure I see 2 QB's leaving before the season. Maybe 1 TE before the season. Then maybe 1-2 more. I think closer to 4-5 leave not 9.

Not IYOK but I do know we were looking for transfer WR. This seems like a fit.
