Damn. Wonder if it was her record or personality. Of course, UT was a powerhouse in women's basketball so maybe sweet 16s wasn't good enough.

We did a pretty good job with Ray-Howland. We had Howland ready to go.

Any reason we couldn't hire the Texas ex-coach? I have no idea who he/she is.

I imagine we will get a good women's Coach. Vic built the program and it pays pretty good now days. Culture is good for our women's basketball team.

I believe it will be easier than hiring a men's basketball Coach.

I believe she wasn't actually fired. contract wasn't renewed. anyways. that new AD of theirs is putting them back on top of the map with hires.

Their home run hires haven't exactly worked out....Shaka Smart, Tom Herman....and when was the last time they were relevant in baseball ? ..they are a place coaches go to die...they really do have a culture problem at UT..

Agree TX has huge expectations; maybe they look for Vic to be the guy to turn their school around. For UT, Doesn't hurt that he is a TAMU guy either.
