He's just optimistically guessing.

This doesn't really mean much tbh. It's just what he hopes happens. It's up to us, the citizens, to do our part now.

He also said he wants the churches packed on Easter.

It really is up to the people. As long as dumbasses in government refuse to shut everything down for two weeks and dumbasses in the street continue to refuse to socially distance, things will be out of whack and people will keep dying needlessly.

I think he's probably right. We're probably in the worst of it right now. By then we'll have immunity and be able to manage it even better than now.

Come May 1 the country is going to start to go back the work. You can bank that.

(X) Doubt

I ain’t missed a day. Actually, worked more than I ever have. Of course, there are ways to do it and it’s painful but if we all do our part we can get through this

Same. But May 1 for "the country" going back to work is too ambitious. (And by that I mean restaurants and everything reopening for sit down business.)

Best case scenario is Memorial day imo. Most likely is in the range from Father's Day to July 4th.

Europeans are talking about resuming and finishing Champions League, which has about 7 rounds of games left assuming they don't alter the structure of the rest of the tourney, by early July or early Aug at the latest. Americans are questioning whether we'll even have a football season that doesn't start until September.

The president wanted April 20th but he relented to the doctors and gave them until May 1. Come May 1 many parts of the country is going back to work. Obviously not all of it but parts of it. By the way I have not missed a day of work either.

Yeah. Those same doctors that everyone thinks hung the moon have been consistently wrong and their models are way worse than what has actually happened so far.

Our small business has been wide open, as we fall under “essential”. It’s very hard to wrap your head around as to what to do. We’ve,obviously, changed some procedural things. Such as, no walk ins and our show room is closed. Tried to be incredibly careful with deliveries. Shut down all in home service work. But people are still buying and calling. It’s a catch 22, do you tell people you don’t want their orders? Burn 20 years of good name and service? If one salesman or warehouse employee catches it, we’re toast. Katrina was a weird deal to go thru, Bush and Obama’s Great Recession, was a bad bad deal. But this is something entirely different. It’s like everytime you go to work you’re playing Russian roulette. And of course my wife is a teacher and stays freaked out. I’ve had three in home service or deliveries get canceled due to the home owners having the virus. If the material would have gotten here a day or so earlier, I or one of my guys could have gotten it. Good times.

I think the nfl will be played. There may be no fans or at least a smaller number.
