Do they name the #1 seed as champ or do they just not name one?

I wound't be surprised if the NCAA reduced the number of teams in the tournament. Also regions will be real regions to keep teams from having to fly.

UK was given the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament

See I go the opposite way. I think this is the NCAA's chance to bring in the 96 team tournament. Announce that they're postponing the tourney and will reevaluate April 1st and then take the top 96 teams. Give teams 3 weeks to a month to practice and kick it off May 1st. Top 8 seeds in each region get byes. 1st and 2nd round games played on campus.

No, but rest assured they'll try to claim another national championship if the rest of the season is cancelled.
