Severe threat today

Looks like most of north MS will be facing a severe threat today with the main issues being hail and damaging winds. A tornado threat does exist but as of right now is primarily confined to NW MS although it would not surprise me to see that area expand as the day goes on. The storms have already formed and are in NW AR currently. They look to cross the river into MS around noon and be pushed out by early evening. This isn't looking to be a big event but a few wind and hail reports and maybe a lost tornado report are all possible.

I'm at work now. I didn't take off to chase this. Got to be a little more judicious with my days off. The flu burned up a few a couple weeks ago. If they look decent closer to quitting time I'll probably head out and see what's going on.
