a new Altima at the Ole Piss basketball game. Putt for a car and she made it from one end of the floor to the other. I bet Cannon is about ready to pull these new car promotions!

That new Altima is a fantastic sedan. Got the wife one. She loves it.

An old man...turned 98. He won the lottery. Died the next day. Isn't it ironic. Don't you think? A little too ironic.

That would be a jagged little pill to swallow

They have insurance on it. Doesn't cost much. Like a hole in one insurance at a golf tourney.

Don't think that is ironic. It's coincidence.

It's coincidence.

Correct, just a sucky thing but not irony.

Irony, is winning the lottery, after pledging the winnings to charity. But you made the pledge thinking you would never win. Or you can’t pay a debt of $2000 so you hand over a $5 power ball ticket as your last asset- and it pays your creditor $500M.

One thing has to relate to the other.

For Smootness: The power ball ticket would need to handed over spitefully and facetiously, then it's irony. I meant that but I was typing on a phone.

Eh, those aren't really irony, either.

Irony would be winning the lottery, then dying of the shock of winning the lottery.

Agreed. It’s more like having 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife

Eh, No

Only if you died of shock after saying you could never be fazed by money and had been known to scold others about it.

Things gotta be related and there has to be a twist

But dying of shock would suck.

This link is not irony, but it's the greatest lottery prank in a television program

No, what I posted is definitely irony.

You could argue it would make it more ironic if you wrote a book on more money leading to a longer life, then entered the lottery in an effort to win and prove the argument, then did win and died of the shock of winning the lottery.

Yeah, that would be more ironic.
