Ulala losing 28-14 to 1-7 new mexico st team. Half . Still early but would be bad loss on resume.

What am I saying? We are talking about needing such a negative website for a man...can I call him a man? Perhaps ICON is more fitting? The next ICON to win us something big with players bearing lots of recruiting stars.

There was a firedanmullen website... He and Urban turned things around quickly and won the NC. I still think Dan can get it done but we really need to find a a way to get our offense out of 1st gear... I think he needs to hire a new O coordinator and get out of the way.

UF fans couldn't stand Dan Mullen. Then Tebow and about 16 NFL players carried them to a national championship. Tebow, of course, almost went to Bama b/c he didn't like Mullen. And then of course, Brantley and his dad talked about how much they didn't like Mullen after Mullen left. Mullen has also left a trail of unhappy former assistants in his wake. Maybe it's nothing.

So, what you are saying is that fans are stupid and dont know what they are talking about then?

Meyer/Mullen won a NC in their 2nd yr at Fla and the offense was one of the best in the country.

I agree that fans dont always see things very clearly and are too reactionary- good post

Wow, players liking their coaches are how it is done? Not getting rid of underperforming assistants that message boards demand summary execution for is preferable to firing them? Managing your staff in the same draconian fashion that endeared him to us in the early going should now be replaced with a long line of BFF's?

Every current or former HC would laugh at that idea. Run off and enjoy your coaching crush. IF Mullen was let go we damn sure better have a wider net than some alleged Mississippi miracle man. Best I can tell he he is being clamored for because presumably he will cheat to recruit, yells on the sideline (a trait that was the hallmark of great coaches college or pro - Landry, Shula, Knoll, McKay, Flores, Dooley, Beamer, Parsegian, Royal, Don James, - not), and has the magical ability to inspire passing.

Forget Bobby Wallace pipe dreams, if we need somebody to 'get on board', go get Butch Davis or Tressel.

I swear coach34 has a man crush on dan mullen. dude will defend him till the end. and theres not a coach our there better than the great dan mullen in coach's opinion. look how about when we fire dan you go and follow whoever he coaches next. you make every excuse in the book to defend mullen, it is getting ridiculous.

Mullen isn't entitled to our support. He needs to earn it back.
