It's on at the same time as baseball.

2-2 early on.

The announcer just said "irregardless".

Reggie Perry is not good at basketball anymore. Is he hurt or something or just has his mind on the NBA. He's legit terrible at this point

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that they are horribly coached offensively.

Surprised anyone really thought we could finish 4-1 in the final 5 SEC games given 3 of them are on the road. Any road win for this team for me is unexpected against a decent team. We were fortunate to catch Arkansas during a stretch where they are stinking.

And today shows why I've never fully invested into this team. Call me a bad fan if you want, but every time we notch a good win and gain some momentum, we come out with a game like today and have a let-down. They have unbelievable talent, and we win a lot due to that, but our basketball IQ is extremely low and we have stretches where effort and toughness is non-existent.

If we win out and make the tourney, great. If we go to the NIT, that's fine too. I really don't care anymore.

Exactly. Firing howland for making the NIT after losing 3 starters is so dumb it could only be dreamed up on a message board. Thank God that our AD isn't as inept mentally as the average miss state message board poster. Cohen needs to tell howland I'm giving you a big boost for assistants... go get you some upgrades

We caught them at the worst time possible. They've now threw a stick of dynamite on 2 bubble teams the last 2 games. 11 3s at Bama and 9 vs us... tourney teams have to beat aTm, but it does suck we got them at their best

87 points, wow. I mean there are only 10 teams in the country that score fewer points that A&M. Our defensive rotations were horrible, our effort was poor, and of course Howland doesn't have a plan B if the man to man isn't working.

It is difficult, but when you return a strong core of legacy players with great talent who helped carry you to the tournament the previous year, it causes extra disappointment

I can’t get invested in this team because the head coach is the problem.

If any of you old timers want to see what a difference a real coach can make, think back to the last team that Kermit Davis Sr. had in ‘76-‘77. Tremendous talent, but he did nothing with it and it got him fired. The next year Ron Greene came in and turned the exact same team into 2nd in the SEC to national champ Kentucky. Coaching makes a difference.

If Perry is going to make it as a pro, he will have to play the 4. To play the 4, he has to improve his outside shot, his defense, and his decision making. He made a nice jump from fresh to soph. He could make another big jump from soph to junior but that's not the mindset of players these days.

I'm just sort of apathetic about Howland. He at least has us to being a competitive product within the conference and no longer an embarrassment and we've seen that we can do way, way worse (i.e. Rick Ray). But I don't feel we will ever do anything to get excited about under Howland and won't sniff the NCAAs most years. But we really don't support basketball like we should at MSU so maybe we don't deserve any better than what Howland can give us here on the back end of his career.

Agree with this. He could help himself if he came back. Ado still here so he could stay at 4 too.
