Mississippi State is now the premier school for any aspiring QB to attend due to having the nation's best passing offense playing in the best conference in all of college football. Do we have any shot at all at garnering interest from Arch Manning?

He's class of 2023. What are your thoughts?

We have a better shot at Peyton

ETA: The rebels would literally sell the Lyceum to Russia to pay enough money to get him there before they would allow us to land this kid

Lol. He's not coming to MSU. Ole Miss went nuts when Peyton went to Tennessee. We seriously may have to have security for Arch if he came here.

He's rumored to like LSU but I think he ends up at Ole Miss. Way to soon to know but my guess is Kiffin will flame out in a couple of years and then they will let Archie/Cooper hand pick the next coach to develop Arch. That's what happened last time with Eli anyway.

we don't have the Nations best passing offense .... and I don't think there's any way any Manning ever comes to MSU .... I think we're trending in the right direction but I think we will start seeing recruiting over a much larger geographic area than what we were previously seeing

Granddad Archie liked State, but Johnny V. made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

You are right, Archie has mentioned many times he grew up listening to Jack Cristil call games (He won't mention he listened to State games, just what I said)

There are JUCOS with better odds of landing Arch than Mississippi State. We'll just have to take enjoyment from the angst in Oxford when he signs with LSU.

I think it all depends on how OM progresses. If OM can become a 6-8 win team in the next couple years, I think they'll be the team to beat

I think there will be other very capable QBs to croot

Probably but I think it also depends on if Coach O is still there because he is going to want to stick it to Ole Miss. And I believe Coach O is the best recruiter out there.

I'm not worried about QB or WR recruiting with Leach.
