The Moorhead regime made this year's season ticket marketing plan fairly simple...

1. We work hard
2. We're tough.

Lol

the marketing plan was the hiring of Leach. I suspect we will see record season ticket sells this year. I increased mine by two. I am buying to in the upper west deck and keeping my two in section 04.

Really liking this staff... a lot. They seem to get it in all the right ways. Eager to see how it translates to game days. I firmly believe our "charminisque" qualities are gone.

That's why I think we may surprise some people next year.

This staff has mostly been together for a while. They’re going to be great because they have experience, chemistry together, and have already worked out kinks.

Matt Wyatt had Ross Dellenger on his show back during the coaching search. Dellenger said he talked to a coach on the ULL staff after our game with them who said he could tell we were gonna run into some trouble during the season for that very reason, along with conditioning. I'm paraphrasing, but that was the implication.

We are already tougher than we've been in over a year. The upper classmen and our D kept our team with the edge Joe's first year, thank God.

Next year went from 10K season tickets to sold out with one big move.

Any of you insiders getting any info about changes in the S&C routines?

They are running the steps at Davis Wade every morning.

Yep. Joe underachieved with the most talented team in MSU history. Now watch Mike Leach come in with this team and overachieve.

I do love the videos but take them for what they are...things to get the fan based energized which was badly needed. We won't truly know how hard they are working until the 4th quarter of a close game.
The next thing I'm looking forward to seeing is the Wr's in the spring game. Yes we won't have our QB on campus yet, but if they can make some improvements in that area to start with.. I will truly get excited about this year.

What about any changes in the weight room? Anybody heard anything about that?

I do like the running part which from how everyone is talking is now more intense. Will help from getting winded on the field. Hopefully weight training improves too because I got sick of seeing our guys always getting trucked last year. We are gonna need improvements with our offensive tackles too. Can't have defensive ends smoking our tackles and getting to our QB'S.

They have already started 7 on 7 and are installing the offense and defense with the quality control and S&C staff. Tre Lawson is repping at the OLB spot in the stack and has been very impressive. Legit 4.6 speed at 6'6 250ish. That gets me fired up just thinking about it. Some are mandatory and some have been player ran.
