That's really surprising he gave Brown only one year considering their history. Also it being for the same position. Not sure what to think about that. Heck he left us after a year too but Mack Brown at UNC I thought was different.

Brown wouldn't throw it to his position group. Figures he has more to offer with Dan.

Well as we all know Mullet has a propensity for Mississippi recruits. This won't be good for us, because Brewster can really recruit. He came in here for FSU and stole Cam Akers right from under the noses of TSUN.

I wouldn't worry too much about Mullen and Brewster coming here. Hell the Florida fans are pissed about a number 8 class, they sure aren't gonna like Mullen using his best recruiter to come recruit "diamonds in the rough" in Mississippi. Mullen can't recruit at UF like he did here.

It looks like Norvell is going to recruit well at Florida State too. Also while Florida may be 8th overall that's only good for sixth in the SEC. They also lost Emmitt Smith's kid to Stanford. So I can understand why Florida fans are mad. They probably could do better than they are if we're being honest.

And wait until Dan starts flirting with the NFL and costs them Florida State. Should be fun from a distance.

All indications are that Dan is going to, and is, killing it at UF.

Thanks for the update, Megan. How is the grocery shopping?

All the wishing that Mullen fails from scorned fans will continually be disappointed. The guy is winning and will continue to win big. He's recruiting at an elite level. His 2020 class is ranked #8 the highest he's ever had. Florida recruits itself especially when they're winning. Dan the man!

It's only a matter of time before they get tired of each other. He won "big" his first two years here when he was interested. He's no Spurrier or Urban Meyer which is what they expect.

He won 5 games his 1st year at State. He won 10 at Florida his 1st year and 11 his second year. Take off the maroon glasses.

Florida in 2015- 10-4 Won SEC East
Florida in 2016- 9-4 Won SEC East
Florida in 2017- Fired/undermined McElwain because Scott Stricklin thought he could get Chip Kelly and screwed it up and then had to backtrack and eventually ended up with Mullen.

So he's basically done what McElwain has done without the SEC East titles while going 4-3 against ranked teams (Thanks Joe) and 0-2 against Georgia. And his recruiting while 8th in the country is only 6th in the SEC. And now Tennessee is starting to catch up and FSU probably has hired a competent coach who can out recruit him in state.

Take off your Dan Mullen jorts.

Mullen inherited a 22-12 Jim McElwain team. Not the 21-38 Croom team. So, success talent-wise was immediate. We will see how far the ?recruiting? kisses get him. No question the guy can coach players up. But can he get and keep the players needed to compete with Bama, LSU and UGA year in and year out?
