Ole Miss' Friday Night Guy Arrested. Not delighting in the kid's misfortune. He needs to take care, he is one of the best pitchers in the conference. All American and 1st round capabilities.

Good pitcher. I don't know about first round though. May work out in his favor because Bianca won't burn him up trying to beat Louisiana-Monroe. He'll bounce back and learn a lesson. One call that's all.

He’s not that good.

That is the kid that Arkansas fans were chanting “booger eater” at. He is a damn good college pitcher. Don’t know if he translates to 1st round but he is very good.

He’s good, but he is far from a first rounder.

He has back of the 1st round potential

He's pretty close to a 1st rounder

I don't know. 5'10" 200 pound LH pitcher with a fairly small frame that throws in the low 90's. Sounds like Mike Leake at best and probably a relief pitcher to me.

Unless he has a crazy high spin rate or something I am unaware of.

Nah. He can pitch his balls off.

Think Mark Beuhrle. He probably goes pick 25-40. That's pretty close being a 1st rounder

Is he the one eating boogers?

This thread is great for the simple fact so many Ole Miss fans are lurking and getting triggered by reading it

In other news, one of their top bullpen pieces tyler myers was announced to be having Tommy John surgery and will be out for the season. Surprised more Ole Miss pitchers don't have this problem considering how often they are used

How much slot value will he lose due to booger eating and drunk driving?

Beuhrle was much bigger physically though. I'm thinking closer to 40 than 25.

Size isn't a huge factor, especially for lefties. Athleticism, command, & ease of operation are far more important.

Yes, he has good trackman information & he can really pitch.

Again, the guy is almost a certain big leaguer & back of the rotation MLB starter. He'll go pick 25-50

He may go closer to 40, but that's still "almost" a 1st rounder. He's really good & there aren't many really good players out there
