He is good and I think Leach will have him ready go but he hasn't faced the defenses he is fixing to face. There will be an adjustment to the speed. Just like being in the Marine Crop. You can train all you want but until those first bullets land at your feet you really don't know. It is usually about 10 seconds and training kicks in.

There are 3 defenses on our schedule that are like nothing he's seen:

Bama
LSU
Auburn

That's it. Every other defense we play has a counter part in the PAC 12 that's as good if not better.

Auburn takes a step back this season too. They lost chunk of that front. LSU probably upgraded their DC position with Pellini. Bama's always gonna be Bama.

In 2018, KJ faced the #12 Total D (Washington), #15 (Cal), #21 (SDSU) #30 (ND)
Just looking at Scoring D- #5 (Washington), #13 (ND), #16 (Utah), #22 (Cal)
Just looking at Passing D - #9 (Cal), #25 (Wash)

He went 9-4 and threw for 3500+

I think he will be fine

Pellini better than Aranda?
