I think it is because you only have one QB on the field and many QB's don't see the field but with WR you multiple WR on field most of the WR get to see the field.

I glanced through the portal and currently there are 9 (or 8.. one of them) 4 star receivers in the portal that haven’t announced a team yet. Now I didn’t go in depth enough to see if those were Immediately eligible grad transfers Or regular underclassmen transfers that were required to sit out
