Can't believe this is the 1st prediction thread but anyhow Who do you pick?
1. Who are you rooting for to win?
2. Who do you think will win and why?

Myself I'm hoping for the Chiefs to win. I can still see Otis Taylor catching that pass and running for the touchdown.
Unfortunately I believe the 49ers will win in a defensive battle reminiscent of the boring Dolphins Vikings SB. Bosa and the other 49er dline will not let Mahomes out of the pocket where he makes a lot of his plays. The 49er D backfield is also pretty dam good. On offense Garoppolo will do just enough and not F up. Hope I'm wrong and KC blows them out.

1. KC. Chiefs fan. Live in KC
2. Chiefs by 10+. RPOs kill the 49ers. Go look at their games vs. running qbs (Wilson and Murray).

Think it's just good QBs, period... Drew Brees destroyed them. I expect Mahomes to put up big numbers

I'm going with KC. I hope Chris Jones wrecks them with 4 sacks and causes a couple of turnovers.

Same....I really don?t get all into the NFL... I pull for the Cowboys because of Dak and have followed the Saints since I was a kid... when I was 12 or so (1979-1980)I could write out the whole Saints Roster... but I couldn?t name 10 players now...

I really don't care who wins but will watch. Since it's been 50 years for KC's last SB appearance I will pull for them.

back in the day when I gave a 17 about the NFL, I always pulled for the NFC too since I've always liked The Boys and The Saints. Back then, the NFC was so dominant over the AFC.

But I'm a Chief's fan today. Can't pull at all for the 69'ers.

It's not the hate but this game just doesn't excite most people. Well except for the gamblers. The sports betting at some of the Coast Casinos was heavy last night.

This one is right there with the Bucs vs Raiders Super Bowl for me. I have no real vested interest so I'll go with the Chris Jones State link and hatred for Richard Sherman factors. Go Chiefs.

The 69 chiefs team had one of the best defenses in the history of the NFL. Their D line was monstrous for the time with Buck Buchanan, Curly Culp, Jerry Mays and Arron Brown. Heck their LBs were as big as some of the Lineman. Their offense was one of the most innovative up to that point of football history. Problem was that they played in the AFL. There is a series on youtube about the history of the AFL. I encourage you to watch it as it is very informative of the AFL history and how that league changed the landscape of how the game was played and televised but how it also changed the game socially. And yes every kids football team wanted to huddle like the Chiefs after that SB just like we wore white shoes after SBIII..

Offense wins games.

Defense wins championships.

High powered AFC West Offensive Juggernaut vs. Staunch Defensive NFC West Team with a secondary captained by Richard Sherman.

I'll take the Defense every time until proven otherwise. It's always the difference.

Patrick Mahomes played in school for Kliff Kingsbury

Kliff Kingsbury played for Mike Leach

Therefore the Chiefs are the preferred team.

Can you get it over the air from your local Fox station?

Don't have an antenna. Tried through my smart tv. It gives me a local channels option that loaded the other day. Slow as hell today and loads previously recorded stuff even though it says "watch live tv". Who knows. Just a bad time for dish to be renegotiating a new contract with local channels. And I'm sure they are holding the super bowl over dish's head.

I think it was ok. Even though it was subtle, it was effective enough to create separation and an advantage for the offensive player. The first little shove would have been a good no call but not the second. JMO though

Tonight gives me more hope than ever about Leach’s system at MSU. KC runs as close to Leach’s system as anything you’ll see in the NFL. Having a generational QB doesn’t hurt. But, you were able to see what it can do at the highest level.........without the best D in football.

Just got back from a party with a bunch of pissed of Gamblers. Man they were ready to string Shanahan up in the 4th when he quit running the ball. 3 and out and a shitty punt. And on the last possession he didn't even call a time out. Anyway. I predicted that the 49ers defense would bottle up Mahomes which they did for the game except for 4 huge plays and I am glad the chiefs won. Oh yeah Great game by Chris Jones.

That's why I don't gamble. Shanahan did a bad job right before the half to start with. He basically let 40 seconds needlessly run off the clock with I think all or most of his timeouts left. Clock runs out after the offensive PI basically but he still had enough time where it shouldn't have come down to that and at least kicked a field goal which would have put them up 13-10 going into halftime with momentum and also getting the ball back. Best case scenario they get a TD right before the half. Instead it's tied. Fourth quarter instead of running the ball he passed the ball way too much and completely forgot about Deebo Samuel running the ball from the WR/slot position which was so effective earlier in the game and would have given them diversity while at the same time running the clock. And it looked to me like he was trying long developing pass plays when KC was obviously blitzing because they were down and our very own Chris Jones was taking over the game instead of calling short quick passes or screens that probably would have worked and run clock.

Todd4State

National media is all over his big game.***

Of course that's mostly because of the position he plays and most of the media are people like Skip Bayless that have no clue what they are watching.

They'll probably blame Jimmy G for throwing the ball into Chris Jones hands knowing them.**
