Looks like it's packed for the Duke game tonight.

According to Wikipedia, it holds about 50,000 for football and the largest crowd ever for basketball was about 35,000. You'd think it'd hold more for basketball since the court is smaller than a FB field, so it'll be interesting to see what the crowd size is tonight. It's possible some seats may be shut off though. Even so, I wouldn't be surprised to see a new record.

This view is like watching the game on a cell phone across the room

Fun fact: The Carrier Dome (named after Carrier or A/C fame) is not air conditioned.

I have been to a basketball game there before. They just partition 1/2 of the dome for basketball season. Funny thing is when you open the doors to enter, air is rushing out. The compressed air holds the roof up.

Was there when Rocky beat 'em in '86. Flew from JFK or LaGuardia (can't remember which) and smoked a cig during the 45 minute flight)

Our DC will not be coaching there this year.
