Hes like the #360 WR nationally, a 2* on most services, and is rated .8003. 5'8" 165 lb.

I'm actually not disparaging him, because obviously Leach wants him and Leach knows more about WRs than possibly any HC we've ever had. Anyone Leach wants on the offensive side I hope we get. I dont care about the ranking

There's gotta be a back story on this. I'm thinking someone who has watched this kid knows Leach and made a call.

I will trust in Leach's talent evaluation similar to Mullen. If we are offering someone early then they have talent. Now we did take some last minute guys under Mullen that didn't work out but we also got guys like Taveze Calhoun.

Hopefully leach sees something that others don't, but I'd feel better about a lightly recruited player if he were not from Florida; everyone scouts Florida.

I am going to go out on a limb and say at that size, this guy probably has some elite speed.

I guess it depends on the situation. If he is at a run heavy school and doesn't do the 7 v 7 teams or football camps then anyone could slip through the cracks no matter where they are. I don't know if that is the case or like someone else said, maybe Leach had someone suggest him and likes what he sees.

He's a PWO that's not atually committed. He's never had a conversation with our coaches.

This makes more sense.

That tweet is funny to me. He also said he?s bringing some of that FL elite speed to MS and the kid runs a 4.8 at 5 foot 8 tall. Hope he?s the next Wes Walker but he needs to actually meet our coaches and make sure he?s gonna have that PWO when he makes the trip.

In fairness to him, 247 says he was timed 4.70 just over a year ago and he weighed 30 less pounds then. Even if it's only 20 lbs hes put on I can definately believe hes faster now

If he's just a PWO then it's not that big of a deal. Leach seems to be getting a lot of PWO WRs in the last week or so. I like that he's recognizing we need as much help at that position as we can get.
