View Full Version : Is the site fixed now or is there something I need to do to my computer?

I'm still not seeing the latest posts when viewing. I hear all this stuff about "clearing caches" and "clearing out cookies".

Can someone let me know what's going on or what I need to do? I don't know anything about "clearing caches" or "clearing out cookies"

Why should I have to do work on my computer to properly view ED?

I want things back to the way they were, if that's possible. It seems a LITTLE better but it's still jacked up.

thanks

It's not working right on mine. I'm still not seeing replies in a post and it's not refreshing the way it should.

I just had a problem too.

The XFL rules post said it had 3 replies. I opened it up and there were none. Reloaded, and they showed up.

I suppose it depends on what your browser calls it. Safar calls it "reload"; others might call it "refresh". Anyway, it's when you hit the circular arrow on the URL line to update the browser tab.

BTW - I'm still having the issue this morning.

Mine down this morning on chrome and Firefox. It will not refresh the Forums. I have to go to new post section to reply. I have cleared Cache and cookies also. Sccoba could the problem lie with the ADs?

Funny thing last night ... all the sites (EliteD, SPS, 247) were having issue reaching them, logging in, and SPS didn't show any threads for a brief time too.

Moorhead probably took some of that very large severance package and hired a hacker to sabotage the MSU fan sites ****

We've identified the problem, it's a caching setting on the server side, used to improve page load times. We've just removed that setting, so that should clear this issue up.

We apologize for the inconvenience!

It should be fixed. There was a cache setting that was causing the problem, we've disable that setting.

ED is working fine on my PC right now but I'm curious about this "clearing the cache" on the PC thingy. How is that done and what does it accomplish?

It seems to be working fine for me on my MacBook Pro. Haven't tried iPhone or iPad.
