That we are trying to set up an Ov for KC Costello.

I hope it's happening.

Would be a monster pickup.

Would have the smarts to pick up Leach?s offense quickly, and from the clips I?ve watched the arm strength and accuracy to make the offense go.

Plus it would give Shrader a much needed RS year to learn and most importantly develop into a pure passer.

This would be a win, win.

If we get Costello, we’ll win 8 minimum and I think 10 and an access bowl/challenge for West is possible if not likely

The word is he'll be in next weekend. He got a concussion week 1 last year. His 1st known concussion I believe. He then broke his thumb. He played his 1st 2 seasons injury free.

With Lashely & potentially Costello, we're an impact WR & an outside LB away from being potentially very very good.

I don't. Tommy was a career back up. This kid has proven he can go a full season and has put up good numbers when he's done so. Also, he was much more highly rated out of high school.

Who’s our main competition for him? And would this pretty much put us in the drivers seat or is he scheduled to visit anywhere else? Im pumped about this!

I'd bet they are. But with their main offensive mind bolting to the NFL, I'd like our chances going up against them with Leach being our main sell.

He seems to have an un-conventional delivery but damn he's accurate and has power. He seems to sling it almost baseball style or something.

He also seems to have been fortunate throwing to some VERY catchable hands.

Would be syked if we can get him to sign.

i don't see it as an awkward delivery

His elbow is a little low but it's still a high 3/4 slot. He's 6'5" so it's not a huge deal that his elbow is lower

Also- I'd hate to be the guy that follows Joe Burrow. You could throw 35 TD passes with 5 ints and they would think you suck.

He's not Drew Bledsoe. He's mobile enough to escape the pocket.

Does Leach have any history with dual QB's? Has he ever utilized a QB's legs for yards?

It certainly would be, but you'd think he'd want to get that Standford degree (or is he a grad transfer?).

According to ESPN, he has a lot of offers. I didn't count, but it must be near 15.

I don't think so, but Kingbury kind of took Leach's system & used dual threat QBs with it. Perhaps Leach will see what that looks like now that he has more athletic QBs at his disposal.

Kingsbury coached Manziel at A&M, Mahomes, & now Kyler

He did have a tough year last year but he was injury free his 1st 3 seasons at Stanford. We'll see if last year was a fluke year or the start of being injury prone. I'd take my chances though.

Possibly not if he already graduated. May be an online class loophole. For some reason I recall grad classes being offered over half semesters, just more hours per week to make up for half semester. Who knows these days. You can probably complete a class in a month online if you get the work done. Let?s just make sure no tutors are involved.

2 questions IYOK:

1) How high is your early confidence in us pulling him?

2) Is there ANY possible way to get him here for spring practice or will he have to be a summer enrollee if we get him?

It would be nice to have him for spring practice if he is coming in. That way you have all qbs in the house competing at the same time through spring and summer workouts.
