Samson did get some ***** out of the deal. Just saying it wasn't all lost and he did get his strength back at the end. In reality it wasn't the hair that gave him strength. His strength came from god. The hair was just a covenant he made with god so that he could keep his strength. But those who take the bible literally will argue.
