It's going to get real tonight. Especially in the western delta and across into eastern AR and LA. In that area straightline winds up to 80mph and strong long track tornadoes are all possible in the early morning hours. As things progress through MS the threat lessens very slightly. Straight line winds could drop to 70mph and the strong long track tornado threat diminishes to more a standard tornado and track threat, although due to the off the chart wind shear values a strong tornado can't be ruled out. The good news is it should all be pushed into AL around lunch time. Bad news is a lot of people will be affected while they're asleep so have multiple ways to get warnings.

My plan is to pull out of Starkvegas shortly after midnight and meet the storms at the river. Dixie Alley night chasing at its finest. Who wants to tag along?

Should be expecting Starkville to possibly get hit between midnight and Saturday morning?

Here in Dallas we are gonna likely have tornadoe watches and flash flooding. Starting hard around 2pm. Typically this shit moves east and Mississippi is usually one of the states that receives it afterwards.
