This is our first half production in every game.
OK State - 156 yards, 3 points
Alcorn - 325 yards, 38 points
Auburn - 232 yards, 14 points
Troy - 364 yards, 35 offensive points(an extra 7 on a pick 6)
LSU - 266 yards, 21 points
Bowling Green - 298 yards, 21 points
Kentucky - 291 yards, 24 points

If you extrapolate that to full games:
OK State - 312 yards, 6 points
Alcorn - 650 yards, 76 points
Auburn - 464 yards, 28 points
Troy - 728 yards, 77 points(70 offensive)
LSU - 532 yards, 42 points
Bowling Green - 596 yards, 42 points
Kentucky - 582 yards, 48 points

Extrapolated totals: 3864 yards, 319 points
Extrapolated averages: 552ypg, 45.57ppg

Simply by playing to potential and sustaining first half production, we are FIFTH in the country in yards/game and SEVENTH in the country in points/game.

I know this is going to evolve into a Mullen argument, so I'll just say that I'm tired of being "close". I'm ready for a unit to arrive for 60 minutes against someone that matters...

If this team can play a full, 60 minute game on both sides of the ball, they'll be damn tough to beat.

That's all I want to see from here on out: Play hard and to our potential for 60 minutes. Do that and the rest will take care of itself.

If we had just arrived for 45 minutes we would have won at least one more game (Auburn) and arguably two (OSU).

And we will have to realize that all teams punt, turn the ball over, and miss field goals sometimes. I am ready to see our team get there for 60 minutes. They try hard, but something is off during the games. Got to get the adjustments in there and get to work.

And we actually had 23 points against LSU at halftime. Should have had 24 if we hadn't try that stupid 2 point conversion. But I guess it comes out in the wash because we only had 21 against KY.

K. Feel free to make the argument for "anyone" else...

If our coach could coach and team could compete for 4 quarters, we've got one of the truly elite offenses in the country. That's what makes it notable.

If we sustained it today, we still would've lost. Mullen called a good game but the players didn't execute it.

The coach has to get his players to the point where they can execute things with their eyes closed.

they just aren't catching the ball or making the tackle, they are in position

I just threw up in my mouth a little when CBS just reminded me that they're covering us versus aTm next week. Damn, why couldn't this be on FSS or something else.
