I thought Oregon had a fast pace offense. Either way, good luck to Joe, he'll probably have a job before we make a hire.

Good for him, I hope he does well

Agreed his style works in the Northeast or out west, but not so much in the south. I don't know what it is, but it's a different animal down here.

Good luck to Joe, hopefully Oregon has players that are mature enough to handle the freedom he gives them.

Moorhead is highly thought of as an offensive guy, so this is no surprise. Whether he will do well is unknown; he certainly did well at PSU.

that would be good for him.

Would that change anything with on our end with his buyout?

I'm very curious to see what he does at his next stop - I thought he'd take a year off and try to get back to the Midwest/NE

Moorhead's offense will work north, west, east or south as long as he has better or equal talent to the defense he faces.

When he doesn't, he can't seem to adjust or have a counter. Like a lot of coaches, he just does what he does, results be damned. His offense is basically working at Bama and LSU, who have more talent on offense than anybody except maybe Clemson and Ohio State

He will do fine there. Slower more porous defense and 80% of the time Oregon will have better, faster athletes than the team they are playing in that conference. Plus, I'm sure the HC will nix the "check with me" offense. He will do fine there.

He'll carve those defenses up like a Thanksgiving turkey. Perfect fit for his offense. I'm sure he's a much better OC than HC.

I hope it works out for him. I hate it went the way it did here.

His offense will work in any conference where defense is optional. The only conference where that does not apply is the SEC.
